How To Verify Your Paypal Account

Hi Ultimate People,

Welcome to the second part of opening a Paypal account i.e. verifying your Paypal account.

Now, there are two steps to verify your paypal account. The first step is for you to verify using debit or credit card and the second part is for you to use a USA bank Account.

The credit card must have the same billing address and name with the one you used when you were opening your account.

Now, this is what you will do.

STEP 1
Get a credit card – Visa or Master Card, or with any other credit card company. For Nigerians, you can use the credit card you get from your Graphcard.com Account or Epay Monster.com.

STEP 2
Go to www.paypal.com and login to your newly opened paypal account. Once you are logged in, look at the top navigation bar and find “Not Verified” asking you to verify your paypal account. Click on it.

STEP 3
Once it is open, choose that you want to verify your account with a Credit card and go ahead to enter your credit card detail. Then, click on Verify to continue. Paypay will debit your credit card by $1.99 just to verify that your Credit card is Ok. If the process goes successfully, paypal will ask you to check your credit card statement for a 4 – digit code you need to verify your account. Paypal will refund this money once you verify your account.

STEP 4
After 2 or 3 days go to your credit card company or bank to check your credit card statement of account. You will see that paypal has made two charges on your credit card. The first one is the $1.99 verification of your credit card and the second one is the 4 – digit code you will need to verify your paypal account. Copy the code and head back to your paypal account.

STEP 5
Now, login to your paypal account and repeat step 3. This time, paypal will ask you to enter the 4-digit code to complete your verification process. So, enter the code and click on “verify”. After the process is complete, you will be redirected to your paypal account and you can now see that the “Unverified” has changed to “Verified”.

CONGRATULATIONS! You now have a verified paypal account. You can now decide to add fund to your account any time you like or make money on the internet into your paypal account. With money in your paypal account, you can pay for your online purchases and also receive money from other paypal account holders.
